HB 4354: Allow teachers unions to bargain to keep bad teachers.
Removes control by local school boards, allowing the state teachers unions to bargain on merit pay, performance evaluations, personnel decisions, teacher placement, and discipline. Removes school reform.

SB 14: Allow state to impose more strict energy rules than the federal government.
Michigan currently has a rules that state energy regulations cannot exceed those of the federal government. This bill repeals that rule. Nesbitt voted no. Wendzel voted no.

SB 173/174 – K-12 “School Aid” annual budget. Sen. Nesbitt again helps Democrats in their spending spree by voting for immediate effect.
Democrats produced a free-for-all spending budget full of pork programs stealing from direct education and funding pet projects likes swimming pools, non-profit groups, and new buildings. Nesbitt voted no but crossed party lines in a secret vote to help Democrats spend it faster. Wendzel voted no.
